I qualified in 1991 with a BSc in the school of podiatric medicine. After qualifying, I went on to work within the NHS. There, I treated people in hospitals and schools and gained a deep understanding of chiropody.
Opening My Practice
I opened a practice in Harborne in 1992. Currently, I work alongside other healthcare professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team on Knightlow Road. I specialise in surgery for ingrown toenails, bio-mechanical analysis, and advice regarding sports injuries.

A State-Registered Professional
I am a state-registered chiropodist and podiatrist. There is an important difference between state-registered and unregistered practitioners. In order to qualify as a state-registered chiropodist, you must complete a full-time Bachelor of Science Degree in podiatric medicine. Unregistered practitioners are only required to complete a correspondence course.
